Fate has been good to Five-Star. Future Hall of Famers, Hubie Brown and Chuck Daly, taught and lectured at that very first session. Bob Knight invented ‘teaching stations’ as the camp’s lead instructor two years later.
And dozens of legendary coaches, including John Calipari, Rick Pitino, Mike Malone, and Frank Vogel, all launched their careers on our courts.
At last count, over 10% of Naismith Hall of Fame Coaches have either worked or lectured at Five-Star: Mike Krzyzewski, Jim Boeheim, Bill Self, Roy Williams, Bob Hurley Sr., Morgan Wootten, Jim Calhoun, Gary Williams, and Larry Brown to name a few.
